All women are invited to our free Sacred Heart retreat Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9-2 pm. Our theme is “Women Disciples of Jesus.” Explore the powerful examples of women discipleship in the Gospel of Luke. The retreat begins with Mass in the church. Lunch is provided. We need to know how much lunch, so please sign up by selecting the picture.

Would you like to help homeless families on the Palouse? Sacred Heart has been a partner with Family Promise of the Palouse for over 10 years. This organization hosts homeless families in local churches in Pullman and Moscow, and helps them obtain jobs and housing. The families spend the evenings at the churches, and the day at the Family Promise Day Center in Moscow. Four times a year, Sacred Heart hosts families at Pullman Presbyterian Friday and Saturday nights. Our next hosting is October 20 and 21. We need a meal each night, evening hosts to share the meal, and overnight hosts to stay at the church. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact Tim Paulitz by selecting the picture or heading. Over the last 10 years, we have helped over 100 families, all with children.

In the social hall. 5:30 pm. We’ll have delicious food from a variety of cultures: sausage, Mexican food, Nigerian food, Ukrainian food, Guamanian food, mac n cheese for kids and much more! There will be international music, a bake and plant sale, games, and a great time for all! Admission is free, with donations accepted. Join Father Steve on Thursdays, October 8, 15, and 22 for a three-part Disciples in Dialogue series examining the intersection of faith and emerging technology featuring guest speaker Daniel Johnson. Together, we will explore Pope Leo XIV’s perspective on artificial intelligence as outlined in his first encyclical letter, Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence. All are welcome to attend and reflect on what it means to preserve human dignity in a digital age. You may attend all or any sessions!

Bring your animals/pets to the gathering area to the right of the church entrance at 12:30 PM, Sunday, October 4, for an annual blessing. In honor of the October 4 feast day of St. Francis of Assisi.

Are you looking for a time to pray, sing and share with other Catholic men? If so, join us on Saturdays at 7:15 am, in the social hall for one hour.

Our second annual Parish Picnic is Sunday, September 13! All parishioners are invited to meet at Klemgard County Park for a picnic, BBQ and games at about 12:30 pm. The church will supply burgers, and drinks. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. All students and teachers, from preschool through graduate school, are invited to come forward to be blessed during any of the Masses August 22 or 23.

We will have lunch in the social hall after the 10 am Mass on Sunday, June 14, to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. All are welcome! The Sacred Heart Men’s Group is sponsoring a mini-retreat from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 16, at Klemgard Park outside of Pullman. Fr. Steve Dublinski will lead us in reflecting on Hope. come for Prayer, Fellowship, and Quiet Time. Confession and Mass will follow at church. 1) Breakfast snacks; beverages and lunch will be provided. Bring coffee if you need your morning dose, and a water mug as desired. 2) You may bring a chair if you’d like, although some will be provided. 3) We’ll carpool from the church parking lot at 8 am. 4) If weather is bad, we will meet in the social hall.

Crowning Mary with flowers is a special devotion to our Blessed Virgin Mother. Come early before the 11 am & 1 pm Masses on Sunday, May 3. Please bring fresh flowers to place before Mary. We will process in at the beginning of Mass, then after Mary is crowned with a wreath of flowers, all will go to their seats for the remainder of Mass. This is for all ages.

The Knights will serve breakfast in the social hall at 8 am, cleaning outside and inside the church will begin about 8:30. Tenebrae Service in the church at 7 PM. The Evening Prayer is said while candles are extinguished one by one. The last one is hidden, symbolizing Jesus’ burial.

Our bilingual Mass on Holy Thursday, April 17, commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples and marks the first day of the Triduum. There is no morning Mass. During Mass, everyone is invited to have their feet washed and to wash the feet of another. Families with children should wash each other’s feet. All are invited to pray before the Blessed Sacrament after Mass at the Altar of Repose. It will be in the social hall until 10 pm.................................. Nuestra Misa bilingüe del Jueves Santo, 17 de abril, conmemora conmemora la Última Cena de Jesús con sus discípulos y marca el primer día del Triduo. No hay Misa matutina. Durante la misa, se invita a todos a que les laven los pies y a lavarse los pies a otros. Las familias con niños deben lavarse los pies mutuamente. Todos están invitados a rezar ante el Santísimo Sacramento después de la Misa en el Altar de Reposo. La misa se celebrará en el salón social hasta las 10:00 p.m.
